(about the same width as four human hairs)

Does it hurt?

No you usually won’t feel anything, apart from a slight vibration as the device is computer controlled to ensure that it does not damage the nail bed.

How many treatments are required?
The Practitioner will only need to make the holes once possibly twice, but will want to see you another few sessions to keep the nail thin & ensure that the treatment is successful.

How long does the treatment take?
Approximately 1 hour to make the holes, however the nail needs to thinned which is included in the treatment.

How is the antifungal solution applied?
This depends upon what treatment your Practitioner, however the topical treatment is often recommended to be applied twice daily.

How quickly will it work?A visible improvement will usually be seen in the nail in just 2-8 weeks, however every patient is different and results vary.

How long is the treatment period?
The topical treatment needs to be applied twice daily until clear and for 3- 6 months thereafter.
